If you managed to make it past the dreadful opening episode of E!’s scripted trash-fantasy show The Royals, you spent last season being enveloped in a parade of backbiting, cruelty, and wealth porn that doesn’t always look as fancy as it should. Now that Cyrus is sitting on the throne, we shouldn’t expect any less of the bad behavior or potentially deadly family squabbles (just ask Simon) that drove the first installments. Liam, Eleanor, Joan Collins’ Grand Duchess, and the regal that’s-Queen-to-you Helena will all be back to dispense vicious one-liners and generally act like the worst family on Earth, royal or otherwise. Season two of The Royals returns November 15.
