The Fargo season two trailer is here, don’tcha know
For season two of Fargo, the action has jumped back in time to 1979 and eastward to the town of Luverne, Minnesota. In this latest (or previous?) chapter, State Police Officer Lou Solverson (Patrick Wilson) works with his father-in-law, Sheriff Hank Larsson (Ted Danson), to solve a case involving multiple murders, suspects, and organized crime families.
The trailer is filled with colorful characters and dated hairstyles; first, we meet Solverson’s wife, played by Cristin Milioti. Kirsten Dunst, Adam Arkin, and Brad Garrett all wear bell bottoms and shiver in the cold. There’s a glimpse of Jean Smart as Floyd Gerhardt, a Mags Bennett-like matriarch, and Jeffrey Donovan and Kieran Culkin as her sons. Nick Offerman plays a lawyer named Karl Weathers, but doesn’t mention any stew recipes.
The second season of Fargo will premiere on FX in September.
