The Fault In Our Stars writer getting more movies
In the wake of The Fault In Our Stars, John Green’s YA novel-turned-movie, Universal Studios has just purchased the rights to another of Green’s works, Let It Snow: Three Holiday Romances. Green is actually only one of three authors in this trio of short stories; the excellent Maureen Johnson (The Shades Of London series) and Lauren Myracle (who wrote a series of popular books written entirely in instant message format) also contribute. The three stories, which feature different characters, all take place around the same Christmastime snow storm.
Another of Green’s books, Paper Towns, will see a movie adaptation in June 2015, and Sarah Polley recently announced that she’s adapting Green’s first novel, Looking For Alaska, for the big screen.
Not much information has been released, but the Let It Snow movie adaptation will be produced by Scott Stuber (A Million Ways To Die In The West, 47 Ronin) and Dylan Clark (Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes).
