The female cast and crew of Ghostbusters say screw the haters

Unless you’ve spent the past six months living on Mars, in a cave with your eyes shut and your fingers in your ears, you may have noticed that certain people on the internet are less than thrilled with Paul Feig’s new all-female Ghostbusters reboot. (Well, mostly all female.) There were a panoply of complaints, and while some were from people who just wish Hollywood would enough with the reboots already, those were quickly and assuredly drowned out by the cries about new movies raping childhoods (there really needs to be an episode of To Catch A Predator where Chris Hanson finally traps these nefarious movies). Even the supposedly kind act of visiting sick kids at a hospital was a slap in the face to these gentlemen.

But rather than apologize for the unforgivably gauche act of trying to briefly cheer up some sick people, it looks like the ladies from Feig’s movie have marshaled their forces to respond to all that fair-minded criticism. (Not sure what the meaning of “girl power” is, but we’re guessing it has something to do with dolls.) Melissa McCarthy posted the following to her Instagram account, threatening all of us with this aforementioned and very foreboding power:

Huh. What a funny-looking kitchen.
