The Flaming Lips and Yoko Ono performed on Letterman, and it was super weird

The Late Show With David Letterman has seen some weird live performances lately, including MGMT’s weird freak-out last month. Last night, though, The Flaming Lips and Yoko Ono teamed up for a performance of Ono’s “Cheshire Cat Cry” and took all those pathetic losers to “wha?” school. Lips frontman Wayne Coyne sat on the floor and messed around with the siren sounds on a megaphone while Ono wailed about “stopping the violence” and how the world should "stop all war." Both The Lips and Ono’s son, Sean Lennon, backed the duo, which is collectively weirder than most everyone else could ever be, so take that, MGMT.
