As the first Orange Is The New Black season four trailer reveals, tempers are flaring at Litchfield, thanks in part to the newly for-profit prison’s newly-cramped quarters. After her season-three scheming alienated everyone, Piper (Taylor Schilling) is worried about her safety at the prison, but Taystee (Danielle Brooks) is feeling pretty good about her new situation as the warden’s assistant (turns out that mock job fair was good for something). Litchfield has also had to make room for new guards, who may not be up to the task. But the old guards are still assholes, Red still wants revenge, and there’s still plenty of racial tension among the prison population. And Tiffany thinks suffering is something you choose to do, which suggests she’s got a new outlook on life to go with her new teeth.
