The Ghostbusters have performance issues in new international trailer

The new Japanese trailer for Ghostbusters isn’t likely to win over any of the film’s detractors, who dubbed the first onepretty much the worst trailer ever.” Once again, the new, female-led team goes through the familiar paces of having their life’s work vindicated with the discovery of ghosts, including the projectile-vomiting kind. The subtitles relate all the hilarious things that ghostbusting assistant Kevin (Chris Hemsworth) says, though his dimwittedness might be lost in translation. But there’s presumably no need for title cards for the scene in which the new ghostbusters played by Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon have trouble with a flaccid stream while in a train tunnel. Those kinds of performance issues are totally relatable, after all.

Ghostbusters hits theaters July 15.
