The Gilmore Girls are back in the full trailer for the Netflix revival
The first full trailer for the Gilmore Girls revival—Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life—is here, and with it comes banter, unhealthy food choices, and some soul searching. Also, Kirk’s at Friday Night Dinner for some reason, and we’re very intrigued as to why. Yes, there’s a hefty dose of Stars Hollow quirk here, but also a good deal of emotion. The waterworks start when we get to Emily (Kelly Bishop), who is trying to deal with the death of her husband Richard (Edward Herrmann) and going all Marie Kondo on her home. Meanwhile, one-time perfect child Rory (Alexis Bledel) is feeling “rootless,” and Lorelai (Lauren Graham) is up to her old self-sabotaging ways when it comes to romance.
Finally, if you’re counting, Jess (Milo Ventimiglia) gets the most screen time of Rory’s boyfriends in this glance at the four 90-minute episodes. That may or may not imply anything, but we just thought you should know. Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life will have you singing Carole King when it drops November 25.
