The kid from Melissa & Joey will also do something with dinosaurs in Jurassic World
According to Variety, Nick Robinson is in talks for a role in the upcoming Jurassic Park sequel Jurassic World, joining Jessica Chastain and Ty Simpkins (also known as the kid from Iron Man 3) in the running for roles. Robinson has been a regular on Melissa & Joey for the past three years, and made his feature film debut this summer in Jordan Vogt-Roberts’ The Kings Of Summer. Though no characters have actually been confirmed and plot details are still being kept under wraps, Robinson is reportedly in talks to play the older brother of Simpkins’ character. This is a massive upgrade from standing on the sidelines while Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence try valiantly to keep the art of the multi-cam family sitcom alive, so while ABC Family has ordered that show to reach 100 episodes, Robinson will presumably get to take a little break by running away from a different, more CGI-heavy dinosaur.
