The CW has confirmed it will not be renewing Canadian soap The L.A. Complex for a third season. The announcement should hardly come as a surprise to anyone who's been keeping up with the numbers, ever since the show’s April premiere literally set the record for the lowest ratings ever reached by a broadcast drama. Troubles began anew several weeks ago when Canada's MuchMusic channel passed on a third season in defiance of the show’s generally favorable critical reception. Despite a valiant effort on the part of the show’s executive producers to resuscitate the show since, it seems their attempts were to no avail, and those poor, sexy Canucks will now never realize their Hollywood dreams.
