The LAPD has arrested a suspect for the murder of rapper Nipsey Hussle
As reported by Vice News, the Los Angeles Police Department has announced that it has arrested a suspect for the murder of Nipsey Hussle. The Grammy-nominated artist, who had been a prominent member of the Los Angeles rap community and a strong advocate for stopping gang violence (he also made a memorable cameo on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and was one of the rappers behind viral pirate radio hit “Fuck Donald Trump”), was killed in a shooting outside a clothing store on Sunday. The LAPD announced that it had arrested a suspect on Twitter, complete with a big red “IN CUSTODY” label on the man’s face because that’s the sort of thing that’s totally normal in 2019. The suspect, a 29-year-old man named Eric Holder, was reportedly seen on surveillance camera footage of the shooting.
Last night, several people at a makeshift memorial for Hussle were injured in a stampede at the parking lot where he was killed. Some sources claimed that more shots had been fired, but authorities have only confirmed that one person had been stabbed.
