Police officers have regularly found ways to incorporate pop culture into their jobs, though some are more questionable than others. The latest such development involves Stranger Things season two spoilers, which anyone still in the middle of a binge watch would go out of their way to avoid. The East Lansing police department in Michigan is apparently trying to deter crime by plastering the walls of the jail with insights into the new season as “extra motivation” to stay out of there.
The East Lansing police department’s Twitter feed is full of suggestions for abiding by the law, along with some gentle ribbing for folks who don’t know how to use their turn signals.
They even remind sports fans not to make asses of themselves with every Green and White win.
The department will presumably move on to Westworld season-two spoilers come spring.
