The Leftovers season two trailer is here, unlike 2 percent of the population
It’s been a long wait, but finally it’s arrived. No, not answers of any kind—the full trailer for season two of The Leftovers. And, judging by this preview, it looks like there are no ready explanations for the events of last season. Instead, we’ve got the Garvey family (including Nora, who seems to be in a serious relationship with Kevin) packing up and heading to the town of Miracle, which claims to have suffered precisely zero Departures. Some voiceover from Christopher Eccleston’s troubled priest suggests he’s not exactly going to be a stranger to the proceedings, either.
From there, it’s anyone’s guess what’s going to happen next, beyond meeting the Murphy family, the Garveys’ new next-door neighbors, and possibly a few surprising faces from the past. It all looks deeply ambiguous, subtly shaded, and full of unknown symbolism, meaning fans should continue to be thrilled, and those driven crazy by last season will continue to be frustrated. We can’t wait.
