The Lonely Island announce new record, first ever live show
This weekend, The Lonely Island used Saturday Night Live, its old stomping grounds, to announce a new record. The Wack Album is the group’s third full-length, and is out June 11. That news comes just days after the group announced its first live performance ever, scheduled for July 15 at Chicago's Aragon Ballroom. It’s still unclear whether that single date will become part of a larger tour, but yeah, probably.
Though the tracklist for The Wack Album is still a mystery, Paste points out that there are quite a few Lonely Island digital short tracks that haven’t been commercially released, including “3-Way (The Golden Rule)” featuring Justin Timberlake and Lady Gaga, the “Lazy Sunday” sequel with Chris Parnell, and “YOLO” featuring Adam Levine and Kendrick Lamar.
The Wack Album is available for pre-order now.
