The Lucille Bluth/Mitt Romney Tumblr confirms that saying awful rich person things is all about context
Just in time to ameliorate America's jilted feelings over Mitt Romney, after he recently sneered that half of them are lazy leeches who believe they're entitled to food—FOOD!—along comes Lucille And Mitt, a Tumblr that reminds us, like Romney's campaign managers and Fox News, that it's all about context. For instance, many of Romney's quotes have an off-putting, patrician air that makes him seem like he's disdainfully removed from the filthy common man. However, put those same quotes over a photo of Arrested Development's Lucille Bluth, and they sound disdainfully removed from the filthy common man in a hilarious way.
Oh, and as you may have noticed (and the recently established "Ann Romney Is Ann Veal" certainly did), both Arrested Development and the Romney campaign have an Ann whose charisma is somewhat questionable.
Anyway, apparently this blog has been around since March, though we've only recently become aware of it thanks to UPROXX—and of course, it's only begun to seem more and more apt in recent days. Hopefully someone at the Romney campaign will also take a look soon, so they can use it to begin molding Romney into a more likable sort of stuck-up bitch.
