The Man Of Steel takes to the skies in The CW’s latest Supergirl promo

Due to the series hopping from CBS to The CW, there’s a good chance Supergirl might look like a rather different show when its new season premieres—perhaps even more so than The Flash, which saw its title character going back in time and rewriting history in its season finale. We know Supergirl is sort of losing Calista Flockhart and electing Lynda Carter as its president, but the biggest change coming to the series is that Supergirl’s cousin, Kal-El/Clark Kent/Superman, is finally going to make a real appearance. The CW already revealed an image of Taylor Hoechlin in the costume, and now the network has released a Supergirl promo clip that actually shows some glimpses of the Man Of Steel in action. There aren’t very many details to go off of, but it’s still pretty exciting to see Melissa Benoist’s Kara Danvers finally flying alongside Superman after all of the talk about him in the first season—even if he is missing the little spit curl in his hair.

Season two of Supergirl will hit The CW faster than a speeding bullet and more powerful than a locomotive on October 10.
