Like Mike Tyson before him, Mel Gibson will get a shot at image rehabilitation with a cameo in Todd Phillips’ Hangover sequel, playing a tattoo artist in a brief cameo—one that is, hopefully, full of playful, winking reference to his recent unhinged threats against ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, because it seems like we’re all finally ready to laugh about that, right? Gibson will film his role within the next couple of weeks on a Warner Bros. studio made up to look like Bangkok, both the location of a “dangerous stop” made during the Hangover gang’s trip to Thailand, and the set-up for a blowjob pun, probably.
