The National announces tour dates, premiere info for Mistaken For Strangers
The National has announced a string of North American dates in support of its latest record, Trouble Will Find Me. All confirmed stops are below, but worry not, fans who don't live in major markets: You’ll still be able to see the visages of Matt Berninger and Co. in the near future. Because even people who watch daytime talk shows like to rock, The National will play two songs during the Saturday, Jan. 25 episode of CBS This Morning, in advance of the band’s attendance at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards the following day.
And if a Grammys red carpet interview isn’t in depth enough for you, the new documentary about the band, Mistaken For Strangers, makes its theatrical debut March 25 in Los Angeles, and will then be available through VOD, on iTunes, and in select theaters starting March 28. Hailed by Michael Moore as “one of the best documentaries about a band that I’ve ever seen,” the movie follows Berninger and his brother Tom, a slacker turned newly hired roadie/documentarian.
