The National, Dirty Projectors to tour together—and apart—this summer

The National and Dirty Projectors are set to play a few tour dates together this summer. The run kicks off June 5 in NYC and includes stops in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and North Carolina, culminating with both bands playing Bonnaroo. A full list of both bands' tour dates is below.

The National will be playing behind a just-announced new record, an as-yet untitled LP that's due out in May on 4AD as the follow-up to 2010 excellent High Violet.

Dirty Projectors have also just released a new track. “There’s A Fire” was previously only available on the band’s “Offspring Are Blank” 7-inch, which was sold in limited quantities at the band’s Carnegie Hall show in January.
