After the dastardly Internet derailed Marvel’s plot to force it to watch Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. just to see the Avengers: Age Of Ultron trailer—then surely enraged them further by turning it into the most-watched Marvel trailer of all time—the studio came up with an alternate plan. Last night saw the debut of another, slightly different Ultron teaser, this time with an extended prologue showing The Avengers assembling at Tony Stark’s place for a few beers, a little conversation, and a lighthearted game of trying to lift Thor’s hammer (which is not a euphemism). For those who thought the first preview’s robot apocalypse was missing the fun, this should reassure you that, when it comes down to it, these superpowered soldiers, demigods, irradiated monsters, and billionaire geniuses are still just regular folks.
