Season four of Girls sees Hannah head off to Iowa for grad school, while Shoshanna joins the ranks of all instantly confused post-college graduates. “I just don’t understand why nobody tells you how bad it’s going to be in the real world,” she says in this new trailer. Fortunately, Marnie is still there to set her straight—and she should know how much the real world sucks, because she’s in another shitty relationship, this time dating a musician who already has a girlfriend. Though it’s not entirely clear what the rest of the gang is up to, it is evident that Jessa will continue to provide most of the excitement, as we see her both getting arrested and smacking Hannah upside the head. Girls returns on Sunday, January 11.
