The new Lego Batman teaser reflects on history’s many cinematic Batmen
Nerds can never get enough of Batman, as evidenced by the fact that a ton of people ignored the negative reviews and saw Batman V Superman over the weekend anyway. To further underline this point, Warner Bros. has now released another teaser for The Lego Batman Movie just a few days after the last one. This time around, the trailer is more of a nod to the many different Batmen throughout the history of cinema, with Ralph Fiennes’ Alfred listing the many times Batman (Will Arnett, reprising his role from The Lego Movie) has been in a similarly mopey phase over the years. There’s even a glimpse of a certain pair of Bat-nipples, which is not only a delightful treat, but also an indication that The Lego Batman Movie will be allowed to have a little more fun with this character than Batman V Superman did.
The Lego Batman Movie will be in theaters in 2017.
