The new Little Prince trailer shows a splendidly animated story within a story
Already headed to Cannes, The Little Prince’s second trailer gives a longer glimpse into Mark Osborne’s animated adaptation of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s classic story. In this version, the aviator narrator of the novella is realized as an old man, who tells the story of the Little Prince to a girl leading an insanely scheduled life organized by her mother. The girl is voiced by Mackenzie Foy, with Jeff Bridges as the Aviator and Rachel McAdams as the helicoptering mother. James Franco, Marion Cotillard, and Benicio Del Toro round out the cast.
The first trailer for the movie was released in December. The Little Prince doesn’t have a U.S. release date yet, but will be released in France in July.
