The newly reunited At The Drive-In announces new tour and music

2016 will afford concertgoers many opportunities to catch acts they haven’t seen in a while, or hadn’t really considered before, but the recently announced tour for At The Drive-In has jumped to the top of that list. The band split up in 2001 to try other things for a while (including splintering off to form The Mars Volta, Bosnian Rainbows, and Sparta), then reunited in 2011 long enough to tour in 2012. But the latest reconciliation (which we really hopes sticks) will see the band tour in North America and Europe later this year, as well as release new music. There’s no word on just how much “new music” is in order, but the band did share a teaser on Facebook along with the tour dates.

The band will kick off its tour in March at the Fonda Theatre in Hollywood, and wrap things up in Toronto in June.
