The Oh, Hello crew will advise Ben the bachelor on tonight’s Bachelor
Being the bachelor on The Bachelor can be a pretty tough job, since you have to try and decide which girls have actually/inexplicably fallen in love with you in the span of five minutes and which are there for—as the show often says—”the wrong reasons.” Amy Schumer stepped up to give some assistance on The Bachelorette last year, but this season’s Bachelor is going to get some help from a slightly weirder source. As announced on Twitter, a pair of aging bachelors from New York’s Upper West Side named Gil Faizon and George St. Geegland will be appearing on tonight’s episode to dispense advice (and possibly an excessive amount of tuna).
Not to spoil the magic, but that means comedians Nick Kroll and John Mulaney will be reprising the characters from their Oh, Hello stage show on The Bachelor for some reason. They probably won’t give Ben the bachelor any advice he can actually use, but they’ll probably get a lot of people’s names wrong in a funny way and totally confuse the average ABC viewer. Who knows, maybe they’ll even get a whole new audience hooked on this weird brand of comedy?
