The MTV Movie Awards have come and gone, leaving only trailers for summer blockbusters in their wake. The good people of the internet helped Star Wars: Episode VII—The Force Awakens finally get some recognition, dubbing the film the Movie Of The Year. The ceremony wasn’t televised, which seems counterintuitive to its populist roots. After all, not airing the awards show meant that viewers had to wait until Monday morning to delve into the various homages, including an opening nod to Mad Max: Fury Road that saw Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson take on the form and guitar of the Doof Warrior, with Kevin Hart as Mad Max.

In further attempts to avoid a Franco-Hathaway fiasco, Johnson and Hart assumed the crimefighting mantles of Samoan Superman and Dark Chocolate Knight, respectively.
