The Scary/Funny World Of Fergie
Growing up I did not have a Teddy Ruxpin doll, but I did have a talking Snoopy that functioned in the same way (cassette player on his back, moving mouth that was just big enough to put your hand in on the front). One day, the cassette player started to eat the tape, and Snoopy's mouth was moving but the voice coming out was low and distorted–as if his head had been submerged in a vat of syrup, or he was going through a rapid, disturbing puberty. It was both terrifying and hilarous at the same time.
I bring this up because this Fergie video feels (and kind of sounds) the same way.
Questions:
1. Why? (just in general)
2. Do you think this video was made on a dare? (I'm leaning towards yes.)
3. Remember Wild Orchid? (This question is, of course, rhetorical. Everyone remembers Wild Orchid.)
4. What do you think Fergie's "London Bridge" is?
