The Scream Queens main title sequence has lots of screaming
Ryan Murphy has revealed the full main-title sequence for Fox’s upcoming anthology series Scream Queens, and it’s fittingly full of people screaming at the top of their lungs. The sequence features Scream Queens co-stars Emma Roberts as Chanel Oberlin, the evil queen of Kappa Kappa Tau, Skyler Samuels as good girl Grace Gardner, Lea Michele as neckbraced Hester, Glen Powell as frat boy Chad, Diego Boneta as nice guy Pete, Abigail Breslin as Chanel #5, Keke Palmer as genius Zayday Williams, and Billie Lourd as Chanel #3. Oliver Hudson, Nasim Pedrad, Lucien Laviscount, and Jamie Lee Curtis all get their names in the credits, even though they don’t appear in the sequence.
Everyone is pretty busy screaming their heads off, but Powell looks like he’s having a little too much fun getting strangled with his own golf club by the show’s masked killer, Red Devil. The main title sequence is certainly on-the-nose, quite literally fridging Samuels. And it all ends with a literal wink at the audience, courtesy of Boneta.
Scream Queens’ two-hour premiere will debut on Fox on Tuesday, September 22.
