The Shins to change some more lives as part of the End Of The Road festival
It’s been a while since The Shins released new music—and even longer since they helped change Zach Braff’s life—but the indie rockers are gearing up for new music and live performances. According to Pitchfork, the band is working on a follow-up to 2012’s Port Of Morrow, an album that could just as well have served as its swan song. But the Shins have rallied back in the years since, contributing a song for another Braff film soundtrack and teasing new music on their Instagram account. And they’ll soon be on the road again as the headliners of the End Of The Road festival.
The U.K. festival runs from September 1-4, and will also feature Joanna Newsom, Cat Power, Animal Collective, Broken Social Scene, Devendra Banhart, and Bat For Lashes. The Shins are playing on September 1, which Pitchfork notes will be their first U.K. show in four years. The full End Of The Road lineup is below.
