The Smoking Gun's best mugshots of 2008

Tired of all those "best movies" and "best music" lists of 2008? (And really, Pitchfork? Fleet Foxes is number one?) The Smoking Gun has better things to offer, like the best mug shots of the year, including the kid above, dressed as the Joker—apparently arrested for stealing Dark Knight posters. The celebrity shots are limited (Andy Dick, Heather Locklear), but there's a pretty amazing before/after of a guy with full-face tattoos.
