The Strokes to release a new album later this year
After nearly two silent years in the wake of Angles, The Strokes have confirmed that their as-yet-untitled fifth studio album is due out later this year. Seattle radio station 107.7 The End hinted on its Facebook page that the first single, "All The Time," would debut on the station sometime in the near future.
Rumors of a new record began in June, after singer Julian Casablancas was spotted at New York's Electric Lady Studios with Angles producer Gus Oberg. Though the band's official site has yet to make any mention of the album or "All The Time," The Strokes have confirmed to Billboard that they are both real and imminent.
