Here is your first look at The Tourist, which combines Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie, and the sparkling canals of Venice for the sexiest spy thriller since Johnny English. Fair warning: This is one of those trailers that pretty much gives away everything—the film’s central conceit, at least one of its pivotal scenes, probably most of its good jokes—but it’s also unlikely to sour anyone on seeing it, since its allure is less about the ostensibly intriguing mystery at its core and more about watching Depp and Jolie eye-fuck each other on Freudian trains and at glamorous balls, then taking off on some exciting speedboat chases. The film—directed by Florian Henckel Von Donnersmarck, which makes your name sound lame and pedestrian—debuts this December.
