The next 12 months will see the return of many beloved ’80s and ’90s cartoons. DuckTales is getting a star-studded reboot, set to premiere this Saturday, Hey Arnold! fans are getting some much-needed closure with The Jungle Movie this November, and everyone’s favorite Australian anthropomorphic wallaby is getting the revival treatment in the form of Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling. The TV special will follow Rocko and his friends returning from space and having to cope with living in 2017.

The original voice of Rocko and Spunky, Carlos Alazraqui, took part in the I Know That Voice panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. The 2013 documentary is being developed into an episodic television series with each installment focusing on a particular voice actor and exploring their creative process and career trajectory. After the panel, we sat down with Alazraqui to talk about the Rocko revival.
