Clearly confident that AMC’s The Walking Dead will prove to be a huge hit, plans are already underway for the Robert Kirkman zombie comic series to be expanded into a trilogy of novels starting in 2011. Horror writer Jay Bonansinga will use the world of Kirkman’s books as a starting point for a series of original stories-what-don’t-have-no-pictures-in-'em, and which will put a fresh spin on the premise of a zombie apocalypse. Or, you know, just talk about a zombie apocalypse, which is probably enough.
