The Walking Dead's Hershel was arrested for DUI, and then everyone stood around and talked about it

Having finally made his way out of Filibuster Farms, The Walking Dead's Hershel, a.k.a. 70-year-old actor Scott Wilson, celebrated his escape with liberal doses of scotch and wine at a restaurant in Senoia, Georgia, not far from where he's currently shooting the third season. Unfortunately, much like the show's conversations about morality, he overdid it: Police arrested Wilson and charged him with a DUI after observing him speeding and swerving. That Wilson plays a recovering alcoholic and stars on a show about staggering brain-dead people would probably be the most amusing aspects of this incident—in which, thankfully, no one got hurt and then argued about responsibility for 45 minutes—were it not for Wilson's statements to arresting officers. According to the report, Wilson complained that he could not pass the field sobriety tests because the road was too "slanted," asking to do "yoga moves" instead. In response, the officers told Wilson to stop making excuses and face the reality of his situation, before he got people killed by living in denial. This conversation took approximately 13 hours.
