The Walking Dead's Robert Kirkman hoping to do for exorcisms what he did for zombies

Proving that creating a record-breaking hit television show affords you a certain amount of trust, Fox International Channels, home of AMC, has begun working with The Walking Dead’s Robert Kirkman on a new TV show based on his comic series “set in the world of exorcism”—a series Kirman hasn’t even published yet. Nevertheless, it has Kirkman’s name and a supernatural premise “told through the Kirkman prism,” the geometric object that takes stories told on standard wavelengths and then refracts them into slightly different, often polarizing angles. In this case it’s the story of “a young man, Kyle Barnes, who has been plagued by possession since he was a child. Now an adult, he embarks on a spiritual journey to find answers but what he uncovers could mean the end of life on Earth as we know it,” as the entire human race commits suicide rather than listen to some dude prattle on about his “spiritual journey.” Or, another thing happens. Anyway, like zombies before it, exorcisms have been somewhat done to death of late, though FIC’s Sharon Tal Tguado argues, “Exorcism has captivated movie audiences all over the world but has never been explored on television”—clearly having never seen that one episode of Soap.
