Just in time for the weekend: Shadowy R&B singer-songwriter The Weeknd and Mississippi MC/producer Big K.R.I.T. have released free mixtapes available for download. Thursday is the follow-up to The Weeknd’s critically adored first mixtape, House Of Balloons, and apparently is the middle part of a trilogy of free releases planned for this year. You can get it here. K.R.I.T.’s Last King 2: God’s Machine is his second mixtape of 2011 as well, coming after the great Return Of 4Eva. You can get it here. He will release his proper debut, Live From The Underground, on Sept. 27.
