The Weeknd invites fans to Kiss Land with a new album, fall tour

The Weeknd, aka Abel Tesfaye, has announced a two-month tour in support of his upcoming new album, Kiss Land. The indie R&B artist will hit the road this September and October, starting and ending in his home country of Canada and and hitting a handful of states in between.

The Weeknd landed on the scene with last year's Trilogy, a remastered collection of his 2011 mix tapes (House Of Balloons, Thursday, Echoes Of Silence), that went platinum and climbed the charts in America and Canada. Kiss Land is his sophomore album, and it’s due at the end of the summer. Single “Kiss Land” has already been released, and last month Tesfaye performed a new song, “Belong To The World,” in Toronto that samples Portishead’s “Machine Gun.” A clip of that is below, along with a full list of tour dates.
