The Who plans covers album
According to Rolling Stone, The Who will follow up 2006's Endless Wire–the band's first studio disc since 1982–with a covers album. Producer T Bone Burnett has been attached to the project, and he says the group's two remaining original members, Pete Townsend and Roger Daltrey, will dig up many of the R&B; songs The Who first covered in the mid-'60s (not including classics like Martha And The Vandellas' "(Love Is Like A) Heat Wave" that the band recorded back in the day). Burnett did not, however, rule out the possibility of some original material making it onto the album.
