The Workaholics pack is back in new Netflix comedy Game Over, Man!
Here’s what’s up in the world of television for Friday, March 24 and Saturday, march 24. All times are Eastern.
Top pick
Game Over, Man! (Netflix, Friday): Another Friday, another massive dump of movies and TV series of which you’ll only ever hear about a fraction. But among the offerings—and there’s some promising ones, like rap biopic Roxanne Roxanne—the one that offers some much-needed laughs is the new action comedy Game Over, Man! starring the Workaholics trio of Anders Holm, Blake Anderson, and Adam Devine. If you’ve missed their enjoyably dumb antics, this film promises to deliver: Set at a star-studded L.A. party, the three low-level hotel employees try to save the day when the place is taken hostage by bad guys. If that sounds up your alley, RSVP to this one.
Regular coverage
Santa Clarita Diet (Netflix, Friday): season two premiere. Reviews run throughout the weekend.
Jane The Virgin (The CW, Friday, 9 p.m.)
Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. (ABC, Friday, 9:01 p.m.)
Wild card
Christiane Amanpour: Sex And Love Around The World (CNN, 10 p.m.): The longtime investigative journalist sets her sights on stories that are a bit more relatable. In this premiere edition, she travels to Tokyo to survey the cultural difference of romance and sex.
