The “worst heroes ever” do their thing in this new Suicide Squad trailer

If the first Suicide Squad trailer was a little too moody for you, this new one makes up for that somber tone with a healthy—and very welcome—dose of camp. The entire trailer is set to “Bohemian Rhapsody” for one thing, right down to a helicopter firing off machine gun rounds to the beat of the song and the movie’s title appearing alongside Freddie Mercury’s “nothing really matters to me” line. Also, it seems like a good indication that a movie will be a bunch of stupid fun when the trailer stops so Jai Courtney’s Captain Boomerang can open a beer, or so Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn can smash a store window and steal a purse in the middle of some important business. Then there’s Jared Leto, who is trying really hard to ride the line between cheesy and scary with his Joker, and—dare we say it?—he might actually be pulling it off.

Suicide Squad will be in theaters on August 5, so we’ll just have to keep wrestling with this bizarre notion that it might really be good for a few months.
