The official trailer for Zoolander 2 (or 2oolander, as it’s known amongst those of us who aren’t really, really, ridiculously good-looking) has arrived, with way more plot and action than the teaser, but minus the bumbling of that video’s release.
Once again, Derek Zoolander (Ben Stiller) is fighting against obsolescence in the shallow world of male modeling. But this time around, he has Hansel (Owen Wilson) by his side, even if he is decidedly less hot now. It seems their chiseled good looks are dépassé, and they’ve been replaced on the runway by the androgynous beauty of All (Benedict Cumberbatch). With no fashion shows to book, they have time to help Interpol agent Valentina (Penélope Cruz) figure out who’s killing the world’s most beautiful people, all of whom died while flashing one of Zoolander’s signature looks. Soon, they’re running into old foes and meeting new ones, in the form of Kristen Wiig’s Donatella Versace-knockoff character. Then the gauntlet is thrown, along with a latte, a stapler, a tequila bottle, and a big TV.
