There is no place for peacocks in NBC's future

Newly installed chief Bob Greenblatt continues to outline his plans for reversing NBC’s fortunes, which has seen its ratings suffer for both a dearth of lesbians and an overabundance of peacocks. But now that Greenblatt has added lesbians and gotten rid of the peacock, things should be turning right around. Yes, it’s the beginning of a new era for NBC—now officially NBCUniversal, because it is a leaner, smarter network with no unnecessary filler, like flightless birds or spaces between words. The era of big purple rectangles, more lesbians, and no peacocks.
