Lamb and Windex futures spiked yesterday with the announcement of a potential My Big Fat Greek Wedding sequel. HBO Films is working with Tom Hanks’ Playtone on the project, which already has both Nia Vardalos and John Corbett attached. Vardalos will also write the movie, with Hanks, Rita Wilson, and Gary Goetzman producing.
According to Vardalos, the movie will follow the Portokalos family into another “bigger, fatter wedding” where a family secret is revealed. Hey, maybe they’re not even really Greek!
