Good news for Little Jackie Paper and all other residents of Honali: A series of “Puff , The Magic Dragon” restaurants are in the works. The surely very tasteful chain will be brought to life by the imagineers behind the Rainforest Café, and has been given the blessing of Peter, Paul And Mary member Peter Yarrow, who wrote the song with Lenny Lipton. The restaurants have been reportedly been two years in the making, with one of the development executives saying he hopes to turn “one of the most recognizable cultural icons of the past 50 years” into “a global network of magical restaurants” that double “as an attraction, a restaurant/retail store” and a hub for themed dragon merchandise.
There’s no word yet from either the Game Of Thrones dragons or the titular beasts from How To Train Your Dragon, either of which would have inspired a more badass restaurant chain.
