When we last saw the little band of survivors (who still don’t grasp what it is they’ve survived) on Fear The Walking Dead, the group was considering hitting the high seas to either become pirates or you know, find some corner of the world that isn’t overrun yet. If this promo is any indication, the ocean will prove just as treacherous as land to the ailing Angelenos.
The brief teaser doesn’t give away much, naturally, but we do see Travis (Cliff Curtis) about to club someone on Strand’s (Colman Domingo) yacht—maybe it’s whomever Dougray Scott or Daniel Zovatto will be playing next season? There’s also what looks like a zombie—walker, whatever—flailing in the water, which we hope is a prelude (or homage) to one of the greatest underwater fights ever filmed. The plan is also reminiscent of the one hatched in Zack Snyder’s Dawn Of The Dead remake, so way to revisit all the usual suspects, Fear The Walking Dead promo editing team.
Season two of Fear The Walking Dead premieres April 10 on AMC.
