This 2015 interview reveals a softer side of Aquaman’s Jason Momoa

So, yes, this is a 2015 Q&A from a little watched Sundance drama called The Red Road. But it also offers a delightful glimpse at a different side of Jason Momoa. While he’s best known for playing surly Khal Drogo in Game Of Thrones and what looks to be an equally surly Aquaman in the upcoming Justice League movie, it turns out that in real life, Momoa is a big old softy:

When asked if he’s drawn to playing intense characters, Momoa explains, “Yeah it’s kind of weird how I always play these intense characters, but I do smile, I’m sometimes funny, and I’m very vulnerable.” He does admit he’d rather play bad guys than good guys, however. But he does so with a grin that makes it immediately clear why those fish keep talking to him.
