This exclusive Snatch trailer will hit you like a ton of gold bricks

Crackle’s Snatch adaptation borrows the tone and setting from Guy Ritchie’s 2000 film, but creator Alex De Rakoff has imagined an all new heist and set of problems. Luke Pasqualino stars as Albie, a handsome hustler who teams up with his pals Charlie (Rupert Grint) and Billy (Lucien Laviscount) to knock over one of Sonny’s (Ed Westwick, with an unfathomable accent) trucks. Or maybe they accidentally got tangled up with Bob Fink (Marc Warren), their other neighborhood crime lord. In any case, the trio of thieves ends up with a lot more than they bargained for, as we see in this trailer that The A.V. Club is exclusively premiering.

Though the lads must have thought they were robbing a truck full of money (or maybe drugs?), they end up with a shit ton of gold bricks. Great, right? Well, buillon is a lot harder to move, which is why they get creative here. We’ll see how the gamble pays off when the first season of Snatch, which costars Dougray Scott, premieres March 16 on Crackle.
