The Middle/The Goldbergs (ABC, 8/8:30 p.m.): This week on The Middle, “Axl and Hutch open up a grilled cheese food truck out of their Winnebago, with a reluctant Kenny as their chef.” We can only imagine this ends poorly for everyone who goes to Axl and Hutch’s Winnebago to feed their food truck needs. Other stuff happens in the episode, but you know—a grilled cheese food truck out of a Winnebago kind of sticks out. Then, on The Goldbergs, since the ’80s happened before the food truck craze… We guess it just decides to do a behind-the-scenes episode. We don’t know why that’s the alternative to a food truck plot. We just know that it is, Will Harris.
Arrow (The CW, 8 p.m.): In “Canary Cry,” it looks like Team Arrow isn’t taking Laurel’s death too well. How do we know? “Oliver and the team struggle to come to terms with Laurel’s death, especially Diggle who is overwhelmed with guilt for choosing to believe Andy had changed. Meanwhile, Lance refuses to believe his daughter is really gone and asks Nyssa to help bring her back. A recent Black Canary sighting in Star City only seems to prove his theory that Laurel isn’t actually dead.” That’s basically the opposite of taking anything “too well” in Alasdair Wilkins’ book.
Heartbeat (NBC, 8 p.m.): Beaters, there’s a new episode of Heartbeat this week!

VICE World Of Sports (Viceland, 11 p.m.): No, Viceland is not bringing back the old British World Of Sport wrestling. Instead, VICE World Of Sports is a docu-series that “will tell compelling stories that explore broad cultures, politics, places and people through the one thing connects them all: sport.” That could be cool too, we guess.
