A couple of months ago, film director Michel Gondry (Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind) posted a strange offer on his website. For $19.95, he would sketch your picture. You e-mail him a photo, and he artistifies it for you. I immediately sent him money, as did Sean O'Neal and Nathan Rabin. So far, I'm the only A.V. Clubber to receive a sketch, and I have to say—definitely worth it. Sure, I look like a monster, but what was I looking for, some sort of photo-realism? Hell no. Below, the sketch, and below that, the photo it was based on. It looks like he's no longer taking orders, but bookmark it, maybe he'll start again!
